ExploMar, a high-performance electric outboard system manufacturer, recently announced the successful delivery of its 300hp and 600hp (twin 300hp) electric outboard systems to users in Italy, the Netherlands, and China. The company has also provided on-site services to these users. This achievement marks a significant milestone for ExploMar in advancing global water mobility, as it is the first company in the world to integrate axial flux motors, steer-by-wire technology, and actively develop high-performance gear reducers for electric outboards.
ExploMar delivered the world’s first 600 horsepower (twin 300 horsepower) electric outboard system to Italian company AS Labruna s.r.l.. The system is equipped with two WAVE 300 electric outboards and two HEDB 125 batteries, achieving a total power output of 600 horsepower and a battery capacity of 250 kWh. With its powerful performance and exceptional range, this system offers a low-carbon transportation solution for recreational scenarios.
ExploMar also delivered its first product — WAVE 300 electric outboard system to Dutch shipyard Xtenders. This system achieves a power output of 300 horsepower while significantly reducing weight. In testing on a 6.3-meter carbon fiber RIB, it reached a maximum speed of 44 knots, showcasing outstanding performance.
ExploMar delivered the WAVE 300 electric outboard system to Wuhan East Lake scenic area in the Chinese market. This electric solution meets the operational needs of the inland lake environment and contributes to ecological protection. Furthermore, it reduces the total use cost for the commercial scenario. According to ExploMar’s testing, the 9-meter boat can accelerate to 60 km/h in under 25 seconds when fully loaded (including 13 passengers) and has a top speed of 35 knots.
